Cupa "Charlie Bravo" 2010

FAI second category paragliding event organised by: "Charlie Bravo" Airclub, Romanian Aeronautical Federation, City Hall Siria and Local Council on behalf of Federation Aeronautique Internationale.
The total number of the pilots should not exceed 75. The total number of foreign pilots is 20. The following are required:
- Pilot License;
- FAI Sporting License;
- Satisfactory evidence of glider airwortiness (load and shock test, lines configuration and approval of the manufacturer for pilots who are flying prototypes). see section 7;
- At least one GPS for each pilot;
- Radio station (2m band);
- We recomand accident insurance.
Entry fee is
100 Euro. If the entry fee is paid up to two weeks before the competion begin you'll save 20 Euro (entry fee = 80 Euro). Do it by bank transfer: iban: RO48BTRL00201201G56260XX, bank: Banca Transilvania Arad, owner: Cornel Tau. For this entry fee, the organizer will conduct the Championship and provide:
- transport of pilots and gliders from Head quarters to take off site every competition days and practice day;
- retrieval along main roads and retrieval coordination service during every competition days and practice day;
- lunch packages during every competition day;
- maps and official documents.

Only GPS units (with PC connection cables) according to PWC 2007 rules will be accepted for flight verification. We'll use GPSDump to download the tracklog and FS (collection of software sponsored by CIVL - FAI and the Norwegian hang and paragliding federation) to control the flight and scoring it (using GAP formula). We are not providing the cables for the gps connection to computer.
Competition schedule:
- 26 april: registration and training day;
- 27 april - 01 may: competition days;
- 02 may: reserve day, closing ceremony.
